For RNA’s from October Yearling Sale – 2.5% if sold online ($250 minimum commission), no commission if not sold
For Outs from October Yearling Sale – 5% if sold online, 2.5% if not sold ($250 minimum commission)

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Described below are the required forms per type of horse allowed to be entered into an OBS Online sale. Note that some bullet points include links to the required documents. Definitions of the horse type are provided as the first bullet point.

Coggins need to be dated within 12 months of the closing date of the sale
Vaccination paperwork must be between 7 – 90 days of the closing date of the sale
EVA is optional and must be completed within 90 days of the closing date of the sale
Broodmare Examination Form must be performed and submitted within 10 days from the start date of the sale

AFTER SALE PROCEDURES

If the Buyer elects for a Veterinarian to inspect the purchased horse within 48 hours of the end of the sale, the Consignor is obligated to accommodate the Buyer’s Veterinarian. 

The Buyer has 5 DAYS to take possession of the horse with no fees. After the 5th day, the Consignor will be allowed to charge board for the horse. During this time, the Consignor is expected to properly care for the horse. Risk of Loss or Injury at the fall of the hammer shall be that of the purchaser.  

Proceeds will be distributed no less than 30 days after the end of the sale.
